Bookmark bar
Turbo adds display and workflow enhancements on top of the Chromium bookmark bar, so a busy bar stays compact and faster to use. Most toggles live under Settings → Tabs and bookmarks.

Bookmark menu
Open the full bookmark list in one click (bookmark bar, Other bookmarks, and more), with multi-column layout when there are many items. The entry icon is ☆ (hollow star).
Two places to open it:

Handy when you have many bookmarks and do not want to hunt on the bar; you can also keep the bar hidden and open everything from the toolbar. Favicons load when the menu opens.
Show bookmarks bar
In Settings → Tabs and bookmarks, Show bookmarks bar is a dropdown; the same four modes are also available from a right-click submenu on empty bookmark-bar space:

Auto-hide bookmark bar
With Auto-hide, the bar stays collapsed until you hover to reveal it, then collapses again when the pointer moves into page content; it also shows on the new tab page. Useful when you want more page space without turning the bar off entirely.
Settings → Tabs and bookmarks can set the hover reveal area: address bar / full toolbar (address bar by default).
When expanded, it floats over the page by default and does not push content down. While a context or group menu is open, the bar stays revealed so the menu is not dismissed by hide/show flicker. Opening a bookmark in a new tab keeps the bar revealed if the pointer is still over it, so the old hot zone does not become page content.
Show icons only on the bookmarks bar
Toggle Show icons only for bookmarks (folders keep titles) in Settings → Tabs and bookmarks (off by default). When on, bookmarks show favicons only and full titles remain available on hover; folder names stay visible so folders are easy to recognize — useful when you have many bookmarks and want a denser bar.
Multi-column bookmark bar menus
Overflow and folder dropdowns on the bookmark bar split into columns by available height, so long folders need less scrolling. Toggle in Settings → Tabs and bookmarks (on by default); when too wide, columns are limited to the screen width and the menu scrolls vertically while staying multi-column. When multi-column is on, you can also set a max column width (200–400px, default 400) to narrow columns. Overflow scrolling can be vertical (default) or horizontal paging (dots at the bottom; keyboard selection follows the page).
How bookmarks open
Settings → Tabs and bookmarks → How bookmarks open — three choices (default: Current tab):

If the current tab is already an NTP or blank page, the bookmark opens there so you do not get an extra empty tab. The same setting is also on the bookmark-bar context menu.
javascript: bookmarklets need the current page’s context, so they always run on the current tab.
New bookmarks at front
Turn on Show new bookmarks at the front in Settings → Tabs and bookmarks (off by default). New bookmarks then insert at the start of a folder instead of the end; changing the folder in the star bubble / bookmark editor also inserts at the front of the target folder.
Add page to this folder
Right-click a folder on the bookmark bar or in the bookmark menu and choose Add page to this folder at the top: it saves the current tab into that folder without opening the editor. Handy for filing the page you are viewing.
Left-edge hover bookmark menu
Hover near the left edge of the page content area to pop the bookmark tree menu, so you can open bookmarks without expanding the bookmark bar first.
Configure under Settings → Tabs and bookmarks:

Automatically disabled when the vertical tab strip is on the left, to avoid conflicting with tab-strip actions.
Replace with current page
On a bookmark-bar item, right-click → Replace with current page to update that bookmark’s URL and title from the active tab (not available for folders). Handy when a pinned entry should become the page you are viewing, without delete-and-recreate.
Import bookmarks
The bookmark bar includes an Import bookmarks entry; you can also use Settings → Profile → Import bookmarks and settings for Chrome / Edge (Safari bookmarks on macOS). Full steps: Data import.
