Last updated: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between the Turbo Browser team (“we”, “us”) and you (“you” or “user”) regarding your use of Turbo Browser and related services.
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Turbo Browser.
1. Services
Turbo Browser is a Chromium-based desktop browser that provides web browsing, extension support, data sync, import from other browsers, and related features. We may update features and release security or compatibility patches from time to time.
These Terms apply to:
- Turbo Browser clients (Windows, macOS);
- Download, documentation, and related services on tbrowser.cn.
2. Accounts and sync
- You may register a Turbo account or sign in with a Google account for certain features.
- You are responsible for accurate registration information and keeping your credentials secure.
- Sync and cloud features depend on network connectivity and service availability. We are not liable beyond these Terms for interruptions caused by networks, devices, or force majeure.
- Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s applicable terms.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable limited license to install and use Turbo Browser on devices you own or control.
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law expressly permits;
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or use the software to build a competing product;
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or technical protection measures;
- Use the product for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes.
Chromium and other open-source components are subject to their respective licenses in addition to these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations;
- Distribute malware, attack networks, or access systems or data without authorization;
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- Scrape or harvest data in violation of target sites’ terms or robots rules;
- Circumvent security measures of us or third parties.
We may restrict or terminate access for violations and cooperate with authorities where required by law.
5. Third-party content and extensions
Extensions and themes from the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, or other sources are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for their content or behavior.
Websites you visit are operated by their respective owners. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or transactions.
6. Intellectual property
Turbo Browser names, logos, UI, documentation, and our original content are owned by us or our licensors, except open-source or third-party materials. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The product is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of error-free or uninterrupted operation;
- You bear risks from browsing, downloads, and extensions;
- We are not liable for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, misuse, device failure, network issues, or third parties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost data or profits) arising from use or inability to use the product.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid us for the relevant service in the prior twelve months, or USD 15 if you used the product without charge, whichever applicable law allows.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits may not apply to you.
9. Changes and termination
- We may update the software, change features, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice when practicable.
- You may stop using and uninstall the product at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches of these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced on our website or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance unless you stop using the product.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Disputes should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in a court of competent jurisdiction at our place of business in China.
12. Miscellaneous
- These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the main legal documents for your use of Turbo Browser.
- If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
- Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
